ZF1021 Mechanical Lockout Gate Valve – Slide-Lock Security for Public Water Infrastructure
The Coliter® ZF1021 Mechanical Lockout Gate Valve is a tamper-resistant, lead-free brass gate valve designed for secure shut-off in public utility, municipal, and building riser applications. Instead of magnetic keys, it uses a simple yet effective slide-lock mechanism that physically blocks handle rotation—preventing unauthorized operation while allowing quick access for authorized personnel with a standard tool. Constructed from forged HPb59-1 or CW617N brass with a resilient rubber wedge seal, it delivers bubble-tight closure and full-port flow. Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa) and suitable for temperatures from -20°C to 110°C, the ZF1021 complies with WRAS, ACS, and GB/T 17241 standards for potable water safety. Available in sizes DN15–DN25 with ISO 228 (BSP) threads, it is ideal for water meter leads, irrigation control points, and public infrastructure where mechanical reliability and low-cost security are prioritized.
